THE FERRYMAN
The thought behind ‘The Ferryman’, is a small iron boat, depicting the riveted iron used to build the ships, which conquered the oceans. The iron and rivets are literally twisted into the curve of the boats inverted hull. The rudder becomes the ferryman, guiding the boat through the waves, as a ploughman of old, would guide his horses through the heavy soil of his field…
