DRIFTWOOD NUMBER ONE
I found this tiny piece of drift wood about 100mm in height but with amazing detail and texture, this became ‘Driftwood number one’. It has a rock like feel, I added blues and purples to enhance the shape and add colour to this sea washed bleached piece of bark. I like to play with the scale of things, and this became a graphic and bold object. This is produced in many sizes but still holds its presence, be it tiny or vast in size!
